Challenge
Create a branding and design experience that reflects the engineering departments growth and accomplishments to ultimately increase financial contributions.
Solution
By focusing on the expansions happening with the university, the theme "opening doors to opportunity"
was illustrated with original photos of Venetian doors for their wise, old world, scholarly feel. Each door opens onto a specific new opportunity.
Creative Beyond helped the University of Calgary develop a consistent brand experience with a focus on the lastest growth and achievements. To accentuate the magnitude and global influence of these accomplishments in the 2002 Annual Report, the old world theme combined with the clean lines and high tech, rich feel of the silver doutone was able to convey to the community a message of expansion and achievements ultimately increasing financial contributions.
